Services included in the registration fee
Registration is mandatory for all conference participants.
What’s included in the conference fee?
Participation in a four-day international, fully hybrid conference featuring 48 panels, 13 roundtables and 11 labs with more than 350 contributions. The conference fee also includes two coffee breaks per day, featuring light refreshments and pastries, as well as a daily lunch with cold beverages. At Tuesday’s welcome reception, participants will receive one complimentary drink (alcoholic or non-alcoholic). The closing celebration will also include light foods and drinks.
Social Program
A daily social program will accompany the conference, including activities such as city tours and museum visits. In addition, we will provide a guidebook with recommended activities in Vienna and practical tips to help you navigate the city with ease.
Remote Participation
As MAEC 2025 will be fully hybrid, you will have the option to choose an online ticket. This includes access to all panels and roundtables via zoom.
Day Ticket
A day ticket grants access for one day only. You may purchase a day ticket for either Wednesday (17.9.), Thursday (18.9.) or Friday (19.9.). If you wish to attend the conference on more than one day, we kindly ask you to register for the full conference as only one day ticket per person can be granted.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations made by September 1st are eligible for a refund, minus an administrative fee of €50. This fee may be waived in exceptional cases, such as visa-related issues. Unfortunately, cancellations after September 1st cannot be refunded.”
Cancellations must be submitted in writing to the event management team of the University of Vienna (email: congress@univie.ac.at).
