Vienna University Campus 

16 institutes of the Faculty of Philology and the Faculty of History and Cultural Studies, the lecture hall center with two lecture halls, numerous service facilities for students as well as stores, offices and restaurants characterize the campus as a place with many faces. In 13 green inner courtyards, students, staff and Viennese citizens can find oases of relaxation, opportunities to encounter art and culture, local amenities and culinary delights.

New Institute Building

In 1962 the so-called New Institute Building (NIG) was the first large university building to be constructed in Austria since the end of the Second World War. On nine floors with a total of 21,500m2 the 16 (mainly) humanities institutes of the large Philosophical Faculty were grouped around a central atrium.

Technical Infrastructure 

All NIG session rooms will be equipped with a Windows PC, a beamer, a webcam, and microphones. Onsite presenters cannot use their own laptops but can bring a memory stick, online presenters can connect via the respective workshop Zoom link.
